Year 6 Football Team's Post Match Analysis

Posted 03 February 2016

After Wednesday's match, some Year 6 boys took the time to give us a recount of the events that took place.

Roll on next Wednesday and fingers crossed we win again.

We are very excited to report the St Peter and St Paul football team is at the top of the league, after Wednesday’s match. The first half of the match was pretty tough but we persevered. It was in the second half, when Alessandro Hunter put us in the lead with an amazing goal. So far, we have won all our games and we are hoping to go on to win the whole league. It will not just make us happy, but the whole school too. With the support of the children and staff, we hope to bring back the trophy.

So far, we have won all the games we’ve played this season. The first half of Wednesday’s match was spent assessing everyone’s skills. It was pouring with rain at the start of the match, but as time went on, Sid Kershaw passed the ball out to Alessandro Hunter who miraculously scored and we all congratulated him. Then the other team started to attack, so Mario and I had to up our game. Alessandro Chiatto did some great saves. As the whistle blew, we all sighed in relief.
