Year 1 made some vehicles in DT this week. They worked in groups to assemble the parts and then tested and evaluated their designs. All the children worked very cooperatively and were pleased with their excellent outcomes.

On Wednesday they had a ‘superhero day’ to compliment their literacy work around the book Traction Man.

All in all, Year 1 had a very exciting week because they rounded off this half term with a Valentine trip to the Tate Modern. They loved Matisse’s Snail and the Lichtenstein cartoons!
