Sapphire Class attended a concert at the Barbican that was a retelling of an original story ‘The King Who Tried to Change His Fate’. The London Symphony Orchestra played music by Verde, Tchaikovsky, Witter-Johnson, Coleridge Taylor and Beethoven. The children had learnt a song in preparation and sang beautifully while the orchestra played.
