Our weekly chess club for Year 4 has got off to a great start this term!
Chess in Year 4
Year 4 started their chess lessons with Max from Chess in Schools back in January and they are learning how to play the game gradually. They’ve now learnt about the Queen and how she is the most powerful piece in the set. The children played Queen V Pawns. Soon, they they will move on to playing full games and will have a class tournament.
