Nursery Admissions

Our nursery is open to children aged 2-4 and you can apply at any point throughout the year as we accept children at the start of all 3 terms.

Our Nursery is open to children aged two, three and four years and are eligible to start from the term after their second or third birthday.  Applications for nursery places should be made directly to the school and forms are available on the website below or in the school office.  Places will be offered in accordance with the nursery admission’s policy. Please note that the offer of a place in our nursery does not guarantee a place in our Reception class.

The nursery is led by qualified Early Years Educators.  Each day runs from 8.30am to 3.00pm, with additional wrap around childcare available from age 3 through our Extended Schools Service.

Funding: There is 15 hours free early education funding available for 2 year olds and all 3 & 4 year olds, with 30 hours available for eligible working families.

Here at St Peter & St Paul there are three options for nursery care depending on parental circumstances:

  • Option A – 30 hours of free nursery education for working parents who meet the eligibility criteria*
  • Option B – 15 hours of free nursery education plus 15 hours of paid nursery education for parents who do not meet the eligibility criteria, but who enter into a paid contract agreement with the nursery for an additional weekly cost of between £63-£151 for 2 year olds and £50-£120 per week for 3 & 4 year olds dependent on earnings, as per the Islington Charging Policy.
  • Option C – 15 hours of free nursery education – 2.5 days over 3 consecutive days (Mon-Wed or Wed – Fri).
