Reception had an amazing interactive animal experience when Zoolab came to visit and they met a tarantula, an African corn snake and lots of other African animals. They even got the touch them! They were gentle with all the creatures and very brave. They learnt all about where they live and what they eat.

In December, Reception were treated to a magical Christmassy theatre experience when they watched Rosie Robin and the Christmas Post at Little Angel Theatre.

    Jane Manzone

    Assistant Headteacher - Designated Safeguarding Lead, Reception Teacher - Early Years and English Lead

    My name is Jane Manzone and I am the Assistant Head, Designated Safeguarding Lead, EYFS and English Lead. I am currently studying for my NPQH. This is my 6th year teaching at St Peter and St Paul. I studied at Homerton College Cambridge University, specialising in English Literature.  I have been teaching for 27 years in London and Essex schools. Outside school, I have written about education for  newspapers and magazines. I enjoy attending education conferences, and have my own event which is held at the CLPE in Waterloo (home of the Power of Reading).

    Early Years Educator

    I came to St Peters and St Paul from a Supply Agency as an Early Years Educator. I have been in the Early Years Foundation Stage and I have also worked in Key Stage 1. I enjoy expressive art and design and I use Pinterest to bring new ideas to teaching young children. I was born in Islington and my parents were born in Bangladesh. I have visited there many times.

    I have worked at the school for about 15 years now and I am currently working accross the EYFS phase. I started as a lunch time supervisor and eight years ago I undertook a course to become an EYFS practitioner. I like working in early years and I love working at St Peter and St Paul. I have great pride in our school and in the brilliant children who attend the school and make it a great place to work. My weekends are spent with my family, friends and my grandchildren.
